INK:

  • Saturate stain with rubbing alcohol and soak for five minutes. Pretreat the spot with liquid laundry detergent washing as usual.
  • Spray stain with hair spray and rub, wash as usual.

CRAYONS:

  • Place the stained surface down on a pad of paper towels and spray with WD-40. Let sit a few minutes, turn over, spray the other side. Work a small amount of dish washing soap into the area. Wash is the hottest water thats safe for your fabric.
  • Remove crayon marks from tile, hardwood and laminated floors by scrubbing with white toothpaste.

GUM IN HAIR:

  • Rub a little mineral oil into the gum to dissilve and loosen it from your hair fast.
  • You can do the same with peanut butter.
  • You can also use softened butter.

MILK or CHOCOLATE:

  • Use meat tenderizer to remove fresh protein-based stains. Let sit for an hour, brush off, wash as usual.

BLOOD:

  • Baby wipes to remove blood from clothes, has worked for me.
  • If its a small spot of your own blood, spit on it, the enzymes in your saliva will dissolve it.
  • Soak in cold salted water. One teaspoon of salt to every two cups of water.

BABY FORMULA:

  • DO NOT use bleach, it will set the stain.
  • For whites, use lemon juice, set in the sun for 1/2 hour, wash as usual.
  • Colored clothes, rinse in cold wather, sprinkle with unseasoned meat tenderizer, let sit for one hour, wash as usual.

GRASS STAINS:

  • Fresh stain, dab with a white, non-gel and non-whitening toothpaste and rub it in between your thumbs until the stain is gone.
  • For ground in or set stain, saturate with rubbing alcohol, let soak for 15 minutes, and rise, wash as usual.
